Florida native Dorothy Hudson has received numerous awards for her work and has shown widely along Florida's east Coast, at the Armory Art Center in West Palm Beach; the A.E. "Bean" Backus Gallery in Fort Pierce; and Art by the Sea at the Vero Beach Museum of Art. She designed the CD cover for a Florida blues band, the Dalai Lamas, and has been commissioned to provide menu design/mural art for Ti Amo Sempre, an upscale restaurant in Vero Beach. Whether the Florida landscape or the varied locales to which Dorothy travels, 'place' has always been a powerful inspriation.
