About Mary Ann Hall
"I believe that a painting should invoke an emotion from the viewer. Mine tend to bring back happy memories of locations that I have visited. Hopefully, the paintings will inspire the viewer to remember their past travels or to plan future ones".
Mary Ann's paintings are colorful and represent her travels around the world. The subject matter determines the medium that is used in each drawing. Her favorites are watercolor, graphite and colored pencils.
In January 2007, Mary Ann was awarded an Honorable Mention for her graphite drawing, "Wedding Kiss", in the Treasure Coast Competive Art Exhibition.
