Deb Gooch studied painting at The Maryland Institute of Art, as a fine arts major. Besides pursuing her art, she has worked as a freelance illustrator, interior decorator, commercial designer and antiques dealer in Maryland and Florida. For the past 16 years she has owned and operated Winter Beach Farm, a horse boarding facility, specializing in the "Equestrian Art" of Dressage. The dogs, horses, and people that surround her in this environment are a constant source of inspiration.

Deborah enjoys working from candid photographs that depict the comedy of everyday life. Many pieces are displayed in custom designed frames that become part of the artist's statement. Composition is simple, color is strong and often the pieces are executed in multiple mediums.
