Edgardo Abello was born in Barranquilla, Colombia, S.A. in 1961. As a boy, he would watch his father paint scenes of their colorful life in the tropical city. Edgardo, also, enjoyed painting and drawing, but for practical reasons, his father steered him in the direction of architecture. He came to United States in 1978 as an exchange student. Here he learned to speak English and attended Montgomery College in Maryland to study architecture. He continued to paint fine art, taking classes and workshops at the Torpedo Factory in Va. and at Harvard School of Design. He began working as an architectural artist and after just a few years in the business, started his own company called Artistic Visions, Inc. Edgardo's painting ability and knowledge of architecture gave him the perfect recipe for a successful rendering business! Recently, Edgardo has decided to dedicate himself to the kind of painting that he has always been passionate about.
